So last week we had GOOG causing shockwaves. This week it could be AAPL’s turn on the 20th. Now this is one I have mixed feelings about … here’s why:
You’d be a brave soul to ever bet against AAPL, but the chart is inescapably bearish and now resting on a key 3-month support line (we’ll insert images again from next week). Given that earnings are on Wednesday, you have to observe this one from the sidelines unless you have the specialist options skills (that I’ll be teaching you over the coming months). The OVI has been marginally negative for a couple of weeks – and that in itself is a major turn-up for the books.
So, why my mixed feelings? Well, after much deliberation I, the biggest Apple sceptic, have finally decided that I’ll be getting an iPhone, iPad, iTunes – it’s a major decision and one I have literally agonized over!
My own main positions are currently in physical Gold bullion and BIDU (reports on 25th April), both of which have done very well for me. Look at the OVIs for GLD and BIDU, look at the trends and patterns for both and you’ll see why profits have been so easy to come by. If you just stick to the most simple opportunities and are patient enough to allow them to present themselves trading is an easy game. Patience is one of the keys though and I’ll be showing you how to find your trades in around 10-minutes per day.
