My P1 commentaries are resonating deeply with many OVI members.
Eileen in Georgia has written me a detailed email outlining her experience with P1 and how she’s recently made 30% on AMBA calls and 21% on NFLX puts.
I won’t go into detail about the individual trades – they were solid OVI setups albeit not necessarily my specifially defined chart pattern setups. That’s beside the point here.
The key is that Eileen adhered to my P1 rules in conjunction with trading a breakout where the OVI was firmly in her favour.
Furthermore, she says:
“Hello Guy, following along the lines of the recent emails here are a few P1 trades. Having recently been stuck on the wrong side of trade (my fault) by overstaying my welcome, I have decided to exit at P1’s fully at least some of the time and while in this uncertain market …
I was taught at the beginning of trading to go for the home run and that has lost me a lot of $$$ as I have often stayed in too long waiting for the big win that never came. During this time, I turned profitable trades into losers and lost a lot of capital. I have come to the conclusion that while home runs are awesome, base hits are much better than being struck out. Feel free to share – or not. Just letting you know and thanking you for the P1 concept.”
A couple of important points here …
- Only going for home runs is disastrous. You need a balance for different market conditions. My trading plan gives you P1 and P2. AND it gives you superior odds with persistent OVI setups. Right now the markets are less predictable than normal, and yet OVI traders are still making out with excellent trades because they are following my rules and getting the basics right.
- Eileen has recognised the market conditions and is focusing more at this point on the P1, rather than the P2. In due course the P2 will be ‘back in fashion’ and Eileen is well poised to take advantage of this.
I have taken the best part of 20-years refining my methods, having them tested by independent quants, discarding unprovable fantastical theories that abound in the trading world, and have developed a workable system that anyone can trade successfully.
Please take heed of these wonderful testimonials from real people who are making my methods work for themselves on a regular basis. These methods are quantitative in nature but they also embrace the fact that the operator of these trades is ultimately a human being.
My P1 and P2 method is designed to address our human weaknesses and yet take full advantage of trades that are there for the taking and may just end up being home runs too. Where they do, brilliant! Where they don’t, we often pick up a P1 or breakeven due to the empirical nature of my preferred chart and OVI setups.
You really do have a superior method of trading in your grasp here. I hope you take full advantage of it.
