While I’m no political expert, it seems that things are calming down in the Middle East and both sides can claim some sort of moral victory, which could just pave the way for meaningful negotiations down the track, not to mention convenient reputation enhancement just in time for an election!
The same goes with trade talks with China.
Election years are commonly thought to be bullish, and so far there’s no reason to think this would be different but I don’t think it will necessarily be a smooth ride, and I do think there will be plenty of movement in both directions.
This will be good for us as traders, and with my new technology doing such a good job at finding the best setups, there is no reason not to be optimistic about our prospects this year!
