Interestingly, a few weeks ago I mentioned that I was unsure about the nature this earnings cycle, and so it has proved.
If you’ve been around me for any length of time, you’ll notice that sometimes I’m super confident and sometimes
more considered.
This earnings has been, right from before the start, one where I’ve been more considered, even though I always have high
hopes of great action!
And while the markets have trundled up during the first half, there is this unusual phenomenon that makes me more cautious.
As you spend more time with me, you’ll also pick up on these things and you’ll discover your instincts for the
markets will improve. That’s also because we’re looking at very distinctive behaviour that is a direct indication of demand and supply in the markets at the leveraged level of activity … ie where the serious risk-takers are operating.
